Supports UNICEF and Vanuatu education partners to roll out school-based peer mental-health and child-protection support by coordinating training, mentoring facilitators, safeguarding referral pathways, documenting implementation and connecting schools, communities and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate rollout schedules, logistics, materials and activity tracking
  • Organise safe and inclusive training for facilitators, school staff and students
  • Mentor trained adults through school visits, remote check-ins and refresher activities
  • Document progress, safeguarding issues, lessons and participant feedback
  • Help schools apply confidential referral pathways and survivor-centred approaches
  • Prepare activity, training, learning and donor-reporting inputs
  • Coordinate follow-up with education officials, schools and communities

Requirements

  • Experience in social work, psychology, community development or a relevant programme
  • Excellent oral and written communication, drafting and reporting skills
  • English and French are required
