VNU Communautaire SBC/ PEV et Protection de l’enfant Aplahoué

The community volunteer will strengthen social and behaviour change work for immunization and child protection in Aplahoué. The role will support local communication plans, train community networks, conduct rapid social inquiries and use field evidence to adapt outreach with UNICEF and health-zone partners.

• Monitor health-zone communication plans for immunization and child protection
• Mobilize community participation through local leaders, women, youth and radio networks
• Train community health relays and village committees in social and behaviour change
• Conduct rapid social inquiries and adapt outreach using field evidence
• Prepare monitoring reports and complete monthly field missions

• Secondary-school diploma
• At least two years of experience in communication or community engagement for immunization or child protection
• Residence in Couffo or the intervention municipalities
• French language capability

• Community volunteer assignment for three months with possible renewal
• Monthly living allowance of XOF 213,466.66
• Entry lump sum of USD 50 and insurance are provided
• Leave accrues at 2.5 days per month
