Child Protection Officer (Violence Against Children/Justice)

Supports the design, implementation and monitoring of child protection programmes addressing violence against children and justice. The role combines technical programme assistance, partnership building, results reporting and capacity development to strengthen protection outcomes in Niger.

• Support child protection programme development and planning
• Manage programme activities and monitor delivery of results
• Provide technical and operational support to programme implementation
• Build networks and partnerships for child protection outcomes
• Prepare programme monitoring, evaluation and progress reports
• Support knowledge management, innovation and capacity development

• First-level university degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law or another relevant social science
• At least two years of professional experience in social development planning and management in child-protection-related areas
• Strong situation analysis, results management, stakeholder management and partnership-building capabilities
• Fluency in French

• National Officer appointment with no UNICEF visa or work-authorisation facilitation
• Appointment is subject to medical clearance and background checks
