Summary of Responsibilities
- Design an Arabic-language training syllabus on media literacy, hate speech and misinformation
- Develop session plans, participant materials, interactive exercises and assessment tools
- Facilitate ten interactive Arabic training sessions for 250 youth
- Use the UNESCO Facticity board game and guided discussion as core experiential learning activities
- Collect and analyse participant feedback and learning outcomes
- Produce an assessment report with findings, lessons, challenges and recommendations
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in media, journalism, communication, education, social sciences or a related field
- At least five years of demonstrated experience designing and delivering training programmes
- Proven expertise in media and information literacy, countering hate speech, digital literacy and youth engagement
- Excellent written and spoken Arabic
- Good command of English
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with UNESCO’s Media and Information Literacy framework
- Experience facilitating participatory learning methodologies
