Responsibilities

  • Develop heatwave standard operating procedures for schools and primary health-care facilities
  • Develop sand and dust storm procedures for education and health facilities
  • Prepare community messages on heatwaves and sand and dust storms
  • Align technical guidance with Turkmenistan’s national heat-health action plan
  • Revise modules in the Basics of Life Skills teacher manual
  • Build educator capacity to use the revised life-skills guidance

Requirements

  • University degree in Medicine, Public Health, Environmental Health or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant experience in public or environmental health
  • Experience developing standards, guidance, standard operating procedures, community messages, materials and training
  • Fluency in written and spoken Turkmen
