Responsibilities
- Develop heatwave standard operating procedures for schools and primary health-care facilities
- Develop sand and dust storm procedures for education and health facilities
- Prepare community messages on heatwaves and sand and dust storms
- Align technical guidance with Turkmenistan’s national heat-health action plan
- Revise modules in the Basics of Life Skills teacher manual
- Build educator capacity to use the revised life-skills guidance
Requirements
- University degree in Medicine, Public Health, Environmental Health or a related field
- At least five years of relevant experience in public or environmental health
- Experience developing standards, guidance, standard operating procedures, community messages, materials and training
- Fluency in written and spoken Turkmen
