Responsibilities
- Coordinate UNICEF Maldives' climate-resilient education portfolio
- Develop and monitor work plans, budgets and results frameworks
- Lead Green Climate Fund proposal preparation and quality assurance
- Manage consultants, studies, procurement and project-development finances
- Align proposals with national climate plans and education priorities
- Coordinate government, community, private-sector and UNICEF stakeholders
- Manage safeguards, risk, co-financing and implementation-readiness planning
- Maintain project records and prepare technical briefs and donor reports
Requirements
- Professional background in social sciences, international development, environmental science, disaster management, climate change, engineering, computer science or a related field
- Experience in climate finance and with a United Nations agency or international development organisation
- Experience in project design, management or evaluation
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Experience coordinating government counterparts and multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in English
