Responsibilities

  • Review national, regional and global climate, education and school WASH frameworks
  • Assess school water and sanitation facilities and identify service gaps
  • Conduct climate-risk and vulnerability assessments for school WASH systems
  • Develop climate-resilient school WASH standards tailored to Grenada
  • Validate draft standards with government and sector stakeholders
  • Train education officials, school staff and water-authority personnel
  • Prepare trainers to cascade guidance and support implementation
  • Document practical standards for resilient and continuous school services

Requirements

  • Master's degree in environmental studies, civil engineering, natural or water-resources management, social sciences or a related field
  • At least five years of progressive experience planning, implementing and monitoring WASH programmes or projects
  • Experience developing WASH strategies, policies, guidelines or similar frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of WASH frameworks and their climate linkages
  • Fluency in English
