Overview
UNICEF seeks an international consultant to define its engagement with the Caribbean Water Centre of Excellence and regional WASH agenda. The remote assignment will identify UNICEF's contribution to sector governance, financing, sanitation, climate resilience, workforce development and regional capacity building.

Responsibilities
- Assess the Caribbean WASH sector and emerging regional partnership landscape
- Define UNICEF's strategic role with the Caribbean Water Centre of Excellence
- Identify opportunities in sector governance, financing and institutional capacity
- Develop recommendations on sanitation, fecal sludge management and climate-resilient services
- Consult regional institutions, governments and development partners
- Produce a practical WASH positioning and engagement strategy
Requirements
- Master's degree in WASH, public health, environmental engineering, climate resilience, public policy, education, capacity development or a related field
- At least ten years of experience in WASH sector strategy, systems strengthening, sanitation, climate resilience or sector reform
- Experience in human-capital development, training systems, institutional capacity development or workforce planning
- Knowledge of sanitation systems, fecal sludge management, WASH financing and climate-resilient infrastructure
- Fluency in English
