Responsibilities
- Define the assessment methodology and coordinate the study team
- Assess environmental and social impacts of incinerator installation
- Review national and international safeguard-policy compliance
- Collect and analyse evidence across the selected health facilities
- Develop mitigation, compensation and monitoring measures
- Prepare an environmental and social management plan
- Coordinate and deliver inception, interim and final reports
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree at BAC+5 level in environmental management, sanitary engineering, natural resources or an equivalent field
- At least seven years of experience in environmental and social assessments or similar studies
- Completion of at least two similar studies within the previous five years
- Experience assessing environmental and social safeguards for internationally financed projects
- Very good spoken and written French
