Job Description
Embedded with Ukraine's national mine-action information-management authorities, the volunteer will improve interoperable data systems and evidence-based decision making. The role maps databases and data flows, develops standards and quality controls, mentors national personnel, coordinates data owners and creates dashboards and analytical products that support prioritisation, operational planning, monitoring and reporting.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Map national mine-action databases, platforms, data flows and responsibilities
- Advise on alignment and synchronisation of information systems
- Mentor national information-management personnel
- Identify data gaps, duplication, inconsistencies and interoperability risks
- Develop data standards, dictionaries, validation rules and information-sharing workflows
- Support data cleaning, reconciliation, migration and consolidation
- Develop dashboards, maps, reports and analytical summaries
- Prepare technical notes and recommendations in Ukrainian and English
Role Requirements
- At least seven years of experience in information management, GIS, data management, database administration, data quality or systems interoperability
- Experience analysing information-management arrangements, coordinating institutional data owners and developing data standards and quality controls
- Practical knowledge of databases, data validation, spreadsheet tools and information-management or GIS software
- Ability to provide senior technical advice and work with government counterparts
- Ukrainian and English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with GRIT, IMSMA or comparable systems
- Experience designing interoperability, data-exchange, dashboards or geospatial products
- Knowledge of International Mine Action Standards
- Experience in Ukraine or another conflict-affected setting
- Prior UN experience
