Job Description
UNOPS seeks an MNCH Officer in Quetta to provide analysis and technical support for UNICEF-backed maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health programming. The role guides planning, field monitoring, coordination and capacity development, helps resolve implementation bottlenecks, and turns programme evidence into recommendations that strengthen provincial and district health-system performance.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Analyze MNCAH trends, health-system performance and service-delivery gaps to inform programme plans and priorities
- Monitor UNICEF-supported interventions through field visits and assess implementation progress, risks and bottlenecks
- Provide technical support to government counterparts and partners on MNCAH and health-system strengthening
- Contribute analysis to health-sector coordination mechanisms and facilitate alignment with government priorities
- Document lessons, support evaluations and translate evidence into recommendations for programme improvement
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant health field with 4 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree in a relevant field with 2 years of relevant experience
- At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in public health, RMNCAH programming, health systems strengthening or related fields
- Experience in programme design, planning, implementation, monitoring and capacity building for health or RMNCAH programmes
- Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills
- Fluent English
Desired Criteria
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or Health Systems Management
- Experience working in Balochistan and familiarity with its health-system and operational context
- Experience with United Nations organizations, development partners or humanitarian agencies
- Familiarity with health information systems and digital data collection and reporting platforms
