Job Description
Supports the UNHCR Global Disposal Service in expanding the visibility of its online auction platform and reaching potential buyers. The internship combines digital marketing, communications and stakeholder outreach, contributing promotional content, campaign materials, engagement monitoring and basic reporting while building practical experience in an international humanitarian organisation.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Design and produce promotional and advertising materials for UNGDS initiatives and online auctions
- Develop digital communication content including social posts, emails, visual materials, newsletters and promotional campaigns
- Conduct outreach to engage potential buyers through social media and other communication channels
- Promote the UNGDS online auction platform to relevant audiences
- Prepare communication plans, campaign materials and stakeholder messaging
- Monitor communication and social-media engagement metrics and contribute to reporting and analysis
- Support UNGDS communications and outreach activities
Role Requirements
- Be a recent graduate who completed studies within one year of applying or a current undergraduate or graduate student at a UNESCO-accredited university or higher education institution
- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a field relevant to the Organization's work
- Immediate relatives working for UNHCR staff or the Affiliate Workforce are not eligible
- Excellent oral and written English skills
- Basic graphic design and content-creation skills
Desired Criteria
- Interest in marketing, communications or a related field
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Working knowledge of a second UN official language
