Junior AI Solution Developer

Develops artificial-intelligence solutions for Kenyan public services. The volunteer moves an English–Kiswahili sentiment-analysis prototype into production, builds at least three local AI tools, documents and hands over solutions, trains government officers and applies responsible-AI, privacy and security practices.

• Deploy the government and citizen-communications sentiment-analysis prototype to production
• Design, train, test and improve machine-learning and NLP models in English and Kiswahili
• Develop at least three local AI tools that improve public-service delivery
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, deployment and handover materials
• Apply responsible-AI, data-protection and security practices
• Gather requirements and demonstrate solutions with government and technical stakeholders
• Support at least three training workshops for government officers
• Maintain version-controlled source code and project assets

• Academic background in computer science, data science or a related field
• Foundational Python and data or machine-learning library knowledge
• Understanding of machine learning and natural-language processing
• Ability to work with English and Kiswahili language data
