Job Description
Offers practical learning exposure to IOM Albania’s work on migration, asylum, protection, diaspora engagement and migration governance. The intern will conduct legal and policy research, prepare written materials, assist programme coordination and administration, and build professional capability through supervised assignments, briefings and mandatory organisational learning.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Gain practical exposure to IOM Albania’s migration, asylum, protection and diaspora-engagement work
- Support legal, policy and institutional research on migration and asylum
- Prepare briefing notes, background materials, meeting summaries, presentations and other written inputs
- Assist coordination, documentation and administrative tasks for meetings, workshops, consultations and programme activities
- Complete mandatory learning on ethics, conduct, security, data protection and prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse
Role Requirements
- Enrolment in the final academic year of a bachelor-level programme or graduation within the previous 12 months
- Studies in law, international law, migration studies, international relations, political science, social sciences or a related field
- Age between 20 and 36 years
- Less than 2 years of relevant work experience
- Fluency in English and Albanian
Desired Criteria
- Previous internship, volunteering, academic or civic engagement in migration, human rights, youth engagement, legal research, public administration or civil society
- Experience reviewing legal or policy materials and supporting documentation or administrative tasks
- Experience supporting meetings, workshops, forums, conferences or stakeholder coordination activities
