Job Description

Delivers a three-day training-of-trainers programme for energy specialists in Tajikistan’s Sughd Region on renewable-energy integration into central electricity grids. The consultant designs the methodology, assessments and training package, leads practical technical sessions in Russian, and produces a final report to strengthen local capacity for installation, operation, maintenance and knowledge transfer.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Review project documents, training objectives and participant needs
  • Develop the training-of-trainers programme, methodology and knowledge-assessment tools
  • Develop and deliver Russian-language technical sessions on renewable-energy integration
  • Facilitate practical exercises and technical discussions
  • Prepare a training package with presentations, handouts and technical materials
  • Submit a final report with participant feedback, lessons learned and recommendations

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in energy engineering, renewable energy, power systems, electrical engineering or a related field
  • At least seven years of professional experience in renewable energy, energy systems, grid-connected integration or power-sector development
  • Experience designing, installing, operating, maintaining or integrating renewable-energy systems into electricity networks
  • Experience designing and delivering technical training or training-of-trainers programmes
  • Fluency in English and Russian
  • Practical experience using Microsoft applications
