Twenty-five online volunteers will support the UN Youth Office’s initial screening of applications for the 2026 UN Youth Townhall. The assignment reviews pre-screened applications against eligibility criteria, records results accurately and safeguards confidentiality, helping produce a reduced eligible list for final evaluation without selecting or ranking participants.

• Review assigned applications using established selection criteria
• Verify applicants meet minimum age, information, language and other eligibility requirements
• Record screening results accurately in the UN Youth Office evaluation spreadsheet
• Maintain confidentiality and impartiality throughout the screening process
• Provide a reduced eligible list for further evaluation without selecting or ranking final participants

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in human resources, recruitment or a related field
• Experience reviewing applications, conducting eligibility screening, recruitment processes or administrative assessments
• English language proficiency

• Experience with large-scale selection processes
• Understanding of youth leadership and intergenerational collaboration
