Job Description

Coordinates and supports delivery of UNICEF's KOICA-funded maternal and newborn health programme in Indonesia. The role oversees implementation, monitoring, donor reporting and stakeholder coordination across priority provinces and districts.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Monitor programme implementation, results, budgets and timelines
  • Coordinate reviews, monitoring visits, donor consultations and follow-up actions
  • Support health workforce, referral-system, facility-strengthening and community-engagement activities
  • Prepare programme reports, donor updates, briefing materials and knowledge products
  • Strengthen coordination with government, partners and KOICA

Role Requirements

  • Medical degree or bachelor degree in Public Health, Hospital Management, Epidemiology, Health Policy, Health Administration, International Development, Health Economics or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in programme management, health systems strengthening, maternal and newborn health or international development
  • Experience managing large-scale multi-year, multi-stakeholder development programmes
  • Experience in donor-funded planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, reporting and risk management
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia

Desired Criteria

  • Country-level experience in development, fragile or humanitarian contexts
  • Experience with UN agencies, international development organisations, bilateral donors or government institutions
  • Experience in eastern Indonesia or decentralised contexts
