Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief of Health in managing the country health section and emergency-health portfolio
  • Develop and plan maternal, neonatal, child-survival and emergency-health programming
  • Manage programme implementation, monitoring, evaluation and results reporting
  • Provide technical guidance and operational support throughout the programming cycle
  • Build advocacy networks and partnerships for health-in-emergencies delivery
  • Develop knowledge, innovation and institutional capacity across the health programme

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in public health, health emergencies, epidemiology or another relevant technical field
  • At least eight years of professional experience in public-health planning or management, maternal and neonatal health care, or health emergency and humanitarian preparedness
  • Experience working in a humanitarian situation
  • Fluency in English
