Job Description
Supports WHO guesthouse operations by managing reservations, occupancy, guest records, housekeeping, maintenance and service providers. The assistant coordinates purchasing, events and facilities support, supervises outsourced personnel and helps ensure efficient, compliant service for Country Office guests and staff.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage guest bookings, reservations, inquiries and occupancy
- Coordinate housekeeping, room preparation, laundry and supply inventories
- Maintain guest, payment and preference records
- Inspect facilities and track repairs, maintenance and preventive schedules
- Monitor service-provider performance and recommend corrective action
- Support purchasing, requisitions, purchase orders and receipts
- Organise Country Office events and receptions
- Supervise outsourced building-management staff and operational workplans
Role Requirements
- Arabic and English
- Ability to work professionally in a challenging multicultural environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and tight deadlines
- Ability and willingness to live and work in harsh and potentially hazardous conditions
Desired Criteria
- Direct experience in guest services, hospitality, guesthouse or hotel work
- Knowledge of WHO’s mandate or experience with the United Nations, international institutions or NGOs
