Job Description
Three volunteers will research funding opportunities and produce donor-aligned grant proposals for Action Lab for Development's entrepreneurship, open-source software and responsible-AI initiatives. The assignment builds resource-mobilisation capacity through proposal narratives, donor requirements and polished drafts that support digital inclusion, innovation and enterprise development.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Research assigned funding opportunities and donor priorities
- Develop three tailored grant proposals
- Prepare proposal summaries, needs statements, objectives, activities and sustainability strategies
- Align proposals with programme priorities and donor requirements
- Adapt proposals to donor questions, formats and word limits
- Review and refine proposals for clarity and donor alignment
- Incorporate internal feedback and prepare final drafts
Role Requirements
- Strong research and writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in an organised manner
- Access to a laptop and stable internet connection
Desired Criteria
- Grant-writing and formal-correspondence experience is preferred
