Finance and Administration Associate

Manages finance and administration for UNDP's regional public-finance programme, producing donor and corporate reports, reconciling accounts, processing requisitions and invoices in Quantum, maintaining expenditure controls, organising training and knowledge sharing, and preparing programme, budget and planning information.

• Produce project financial reports under UNDP procedures and EU requirements
• Reconcile accounts and financial reports
• Create requisitions and record goods receipts in Quantum
• Check budgets for requisitions, purchase orders and invoices
• Maintain expenditure controls and ensure vouchers and transactions are correctly recorded
• Resolve unposted vouchers, budget-check errors, match exceptions and unapproved invoices
• Implement financial and administrative monitoring recommendations
• Organise project training and contribute to knowledge networks
• Prepare background information, project documents, workplans, budgets and implementation proposals

• Secondary education with specialised certification in accounting or finance
• Six years of project-finance and administration experience with secondary education, or three years with a bachelor's degree
• Advanced spreadsheet skills and experience with office software, ERP financial systems and databases
• Fully qualified accountant status or completion of the UNDP Finance Training and Certification Programme

• University degree in finance or accounting
• Part-qualified accountant status from an internationally accredited institute
