Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of the Pacific Emergency Telecommunications Cluster training programme
- Design and facilitate workshops, virtual learning, field exercises and regional simulations
- Coordinate subject-matter experts, facilitators and technical specialists
- Maintain the Pacific Waves eLearning Hub and update learning resources for emerging needs
- Build country ownership and deliver train-the-trainer programmes for national stakeholders
- Apply evaluation methods, analyse feedback and improve capacity-strengthening activities
- Track trainee competencies and report achievements, outcomes and lessons
- Develop partnerships that sustain regional emergency-telecommunications readiness
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in human-resource development, training management, adult education, capacity development, organisational learning, emergency management, ICT or a relevant field, or a first degree with additional relevant experience
- At least five years of progressively responsible experience in humanitarian preparedness, emergency management, capacity strengthening or learning and development
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Foreign-national eligibility for this vacancy
