Responsibilities
- Lead project surveillance and epidemiological activities
- Provide disease intelligence and epidemiological analysis
- Strengthen laboratory surveillance systems and mentor veterinary and laboratory personnel
- Develop and deliver training on epidemiology, surveillance and response
- Monitor technical outputs and prepare reports and briefs
- Coordinate technical inputs with government, FAO and delivery partners
Requirements
- University degree in veterinary science or epidemiology
- Registration with a veterinary statutory board
- At least five years of relevant animal health or production experience
- Working knowledge of English at level C
- South African nationality
