Supply Chain Officer - Country Capacity Strengthening

Supports Pacific governments and humanitarian partners to strengthen logistics preparedness by analysing regional supply chains, implementing warehousing and training initiatives, coordinating stakeholders and integrating inclusion, localisation and sustainability into emergency readiness.

Department: Supply Chain

• Implement supply-chain plans aligned with regional preparedness strategies
• Analyse operational data to identify supply-chain constraints and improvements
• Monitor budgets, expenditure and resource use
• Coordinate engagement with governments, UN agencies, NGOs and private-sector partners
• Contribute to market assessments and regional supply-chain mapping
• Support emergency logistics, warehousing and resource deployment
• Deliver training, mentoring and internship activities for Pacific logistics actors
• Develop training materials and maintain a regional logistics community of practice

• Advanced university degree in logistics, supply-chain management, disaster management, humanitarian affairs, business administration or public administration, or first university degree with additional relevant experience
• At least one year of postgraduate professional experience in project management, humanitarian development or emergency response
• Fluency in spoken and written English

• Service Contract for 12 months
• Regional travel across the Pacific is required
