Develop a Functional School Connectivity Partnership Portal Prototype

UNICEF seeks an online volunteer to build a functional prototype for a School Connectivity Partnership Portal supporting digital learning in Uganda. The volunteer will define user needs and features, create a sitemap and user journey, design wireframes, develop dashboard, school-profile, repository and map functions with dummy data, incorporate feedback and provide a handover note.

• Agree the portal structure, user needs and priority features
• Prepare a sitemap and user journey
• Design wireframes and interface layouts for portal pages
• Develop a functional prototype with dashboards, school profiles, document repository and map visualisation
• Incorporate project-team feedback and refine the prototype
• Prepare a handover note with recommendations for future development

• Experience in web design, user-interface design, web development, information systems, digital product design or a related area
• Ability to prepare wireframes, mock-ups or clickable prototypes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely with a multicultural team
• Commitment to confidentiality, responsible data use and child safeguarding

• Understanding of dashboards, data visualisation or information architecture
• Interest in digital education, school connectivity or technology for development
