Leads UNICEF Philippines operational strategy as a strategic business partner and deputy to the Head of Office. The role integrates finance, administration, supply, ICT, facilities, security and risk management to enable accountable, efficient programme delivery and humanitarian readiness.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Act as deputy to the Head of Office and Officer in Charge when required
  • Lead integrated operations support across finance, administration, supply, ICT, facilities and security
  • Advise senior management on risk, governance and results-based management
  • Drive value-for-money strategies, business solutions and quality assurance
  • Guide supply and logistics strategies and advise partners on supply-chain management
  • Lead facilities, common-back-office and operations-management arrangements
  • Oversee operational risk, audit follow-up, efficiency and fraud-prevention controls

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in an operations-related field or a recognised professional accounting designation
  • At least ten years of professional operations-management experience at national and international levels
  • Experience implementing strategic organisational initiatives across operations functions
  • Experience in Results Based Management
  • Previous hands-on strategic and managerial leadership
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience in humanitarian settings
  • Experience in the development sector, UN system or international NGOs
  • Private-sector experience and support for private-sector fundraising
  • Experience in audit, investigations, safety and security or grant management
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and IPSAS
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups or multi-stakeholder partnerships
