Responsibilities

  • Set strategic direction and lead the Mali country programme
  • Manage the country office, workforce, budget and programme performance
  • Lead enterprise risk, internal controls, audit follow-up and resilience
  • Represent UN Women in the UN Country Team and national policy dialogue
  • Build high-level government, civil-society and donor partnerships
  • Lead resource mobilization, security and staff wellbeing

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in development, economics, public policy or another social-science field, or a first degree with two additional years of experience
  • Ten years of international development experience combining strategic and managerial leadership
  • International gender and women’s-programming experience
  • Field experience leading multicultural teams
  • Experience with risk management, internal controls and organizational risk
  • Fluency in French and English
