Job Description
Supports the United Nations Support Office in Haiti from Santo Domingo by advancing mission-wide coordination and mandate implementation. The officer develops analysis, strategies and recommendations, builds partnerships with national and international stakeholders, organises coordination forums, manages planning and resources, and supports the Chief of Operations and Resources Management.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop strategies and programming approaches for a coherent mission-wide response
- Prepare analytical and strategic documents for senior mission leadership
- Build partnerships and facilitate coordination with stakeholders
- Organise meetings, missions and coordination mechanisms
- Support work planning, resource mobilisation and administrative oversight
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in political science, social science, development or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in political affairs, diplomacy, conflict resolution or a related area
- English and Spanish are required
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of another official United Nations language or a local language
- Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile and humanitarian contexts
