UNICEF seeks a remote Youth Engagement in Migration Consultant based in Nairobi to establish and manage the inter-agency PROSPECTS4Youth Technical Facility and Intergenerational Network. The consultant will connect youth focal points, advance participation and leadership in forced-displacement contexts, share technical knowledge and develop longer-term funding for youth engagement

Summary of Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the PROSPECTS4Youth Technical Facility and Intergenerational Network
- Work with ILO and UNHCR youth focal points to provide integrated technical support
- Facilitate dialogue, peer learning and knowledge sharing across PROSPECTS countries
- Strengthen stakeholder capacity to advance youth participation and leadership
- Mentor GRYN and other refugee youth-led organization partners
- Develop longer-term funding to sustain the technical facility and network
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in international affairs, development studies, human rights, child rights or a related field
- Fifteen to eighteen years of relevant experience in international development and humanitarian policy and practice
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with global policy advocacy and supporting adolescents and youth
- Knowledge of refugee policy frameworks, the Global Compact on Refugees, UNICEF CCCs and IASC Guidelines
- Official source conflict: title states 18 months while the purpose section states a 17-month consultancy
