Supports WHO Iraq's community and youth engagement work through inclusive, participatory approaches that strengthen disability inclusion, health awareness, community mobilization and collaboration with ministries, civil-society organizations and local stakeholders.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support planning and implementation of community and youth engagement activities
  • Coordinate engagement with committees and platforms serving vulnerable populations
  • Develop and disseminate health-awareness and risk-communication materials
  • Support health-promotion campaigns and community outreach with youth and civil-society groups
  • Organize meetings, workshops, trainings and community events
  • Contribute to coordination, documentation, reporting and data-collection activities
  • Promote inclusive, people-centred collaboration across health and development initiatives

Role Requirements

  • English fluency
  • Eligibility limited to nationals of Andorra, Croatia, Estonia, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, San Marino or Slovenia

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with vulnerable and marginalized populations
  • Experience with national or international organizations, civil-society organizations, youth networks or community initiatives
  • Experience supporting awareness campaigns, outreach, trainings, workshops and stakeholder coordination
  • Knowledge of public health, community engagement, inclusion and health-promotion approaches
  • Arabic language ability
