Responsibilities
- Assess community protection mechanisms, power dynamics, capacities and stakeholders across target camps
- Facilitate participatory consultations and protection-risk analysis using age, gender and diversity principles
- Establish and support a representative network of 50 community protection volunteers
- Develop and deliver training on community-based protection, referrals, confidentiality and data protection
- Facilitate five camp protection action plans and ten community-led protection activities
- Prepare transition, scale-up and final reports documenting results, lessons and recommendations
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in social work, human rights, international law, social sciences, development studies, psychology, community development or a related field
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Ability to be based in Damascus for the assignment
