Summary of Responsibilities
- Strengthen community-based surveillance and early-warning systems
- Coordinate community health workers and surveillance reporting
- Develop training materials, SOPs and emergency-preparedness tools
- Monitor implementation and prepare technical reports for stakeholders
Role Requirements
- Degree in public health, epidemiology, community health, medicine, nursing or related field
- At least 3 years in public health, disease surveillance or emergency preparedness
- Experience with community-based or event-based surveillance systems
Desired Criteria
- Experience with UN agencies, international NGOs or development partners
- Experience supporting outbreak investigations or emergency response
