Responsibilities
- Support daily accommodation-centre operations under the shelter coordinator’s guidance
- Implement children’s individual daily programmes and escort them to social or medical services
- Guide beneficiaries in personal hygiene, cleanliness and household routines
- Maintain essential supplies and oversee their receipt, storage and replenishment
- Protect facilities and equipment while teaching children their safe use
- Maintain entry and exit records for residents and visitors
- Respond to emergencies and coordinate threats with scientific staff and local authorities
- Safeguard accommodated children during round-the-clock shifts
Requirements
- High school degree completed in Greece or proven attendance at a foreign school
- Experience or training relevant to child protection, unaccompanied minors, vulnerability management, reception of asylum applicants or integration of recognised beneficiaries
- Familiarity with direct assistance to migrants or refugees, particularly children
- Willingness to work day and night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Written and spoken fluency in Greek
