Overview
Supports UNOPS bank reconciliation and day-to-day financial operations by matching transactions, preparing journals and reports, resolving discrepancies and maintaining audit-ready records. The role works with field offices, United Nations entities, financial institutions and treasury colleagues to improve controls.

Responsibilities
- Reconcile bank accounts, statements, charges and foreign-exchange adjustment entries
- Investigate unreconciled payments and unidentified deposits with field offices and financial institutions
- Prepare monthly bank-to-book reports and escalate outstanding issues
- Maintain reconciliation rules and auto-matching performance in the Treasury Management System
- Reconcile the UNDP Service Clearance Account and corporate card transactions
- Maintain financial records, supporting documents and audit-ready filing systems
- Support internal controls, financial compliance and audit information requests
- Document procedures, lessons learned and process improvements
Requirements
- Secondary education with four years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field with no required experience
- Relevant experience in project financial management, budgeting, cash management, financial reporting or a related area
- Proficiency with collaboration and productivity tools and web-based management systems
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Thai
