Associate Programme Officer

Support ITC’s Women and Trade programme by coordinating projects that expand market access for women entrepreneurs. The officer monitors delivery, researches trade issues, organises consultations and workshops, supports partners and missions, prepares analytical products, and contributes to programme budgets and reporting.

Department: Women and Trade Programme

• Support development, implementation and evaluation of Women and Trade projects
• Monitor project progress, analyse issues and track follow-up actions
• Research market access and present statistical and qualitative evidence
• Facilitate client workshops and support change-management action plans
• Prepare background papers, analytical notes, reports and publications
• Organise meetings, conferences, outreach events and market-access workshops
• Support field missions through coordination, administration and data collection
• Coordinate programme funding submissions, budgets, financial statements and progress reports

• First-level university degree in business administration, management, economics or a related field, or an advanced university degree in those fields in lieu of work experience
• At least two years of experience in programme or project management, administration or a related field unless the advanced-degree alternative applies
• English at United Nations Language Framework Level III across reading, writing, listening and speaking

• This is an initial 11-month temporary appointment with possible extension
• Priority consideration may be given to candidates already at the duty station
