Overview

The assistants support UNDP Brazil's justice and governance projects by coordinating administration, procurement, travel and recruitment, executing Quantum transactions, tracking budgets and delivery, preparing donor and audit reports, maintaining agreements and records, and converting project evidence into improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Support administrative, financial, procurement, human-resources and logistics processes
  • Draft terms of reference and participate in consultant selection
  • Arrange travel, workshops, meetings, agendas and minutes
  • Monitor work plans, deadlines, administrative activity and project finances
  • Execute Quantum transactions and maintain accurate budget records
  • Prepare progress, donor, financial and audit reports
  • Administer letters of agreement, responsible-party agreements and individual contracts
  • Systematise lessons and strengthen project records and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Completed secondary education
  • At least four years of relevant experience with secondary education, or one year with a university degree
  • Experience in administration, internal governance, contract administration, human-resources processes, operational compliance, process improvement or project support
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in Portuguese
