Overview
Provides programme, administrative and financial support for UNICEF’s country operations. The assistant monitors work plans and expenditures, processes contracts and payments, coordinates travel and events, maintains records and digital repositories, and helps teams use data and digital tools efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Support preparation, implementation and monitoring of annual work plans
- Process SAP transactions, monitor project expenditure and prepare programme reports
- Facilitate consultant, vendor and partnership contracts and related documentation
- Process invoices, payment requests and financial-monitoring records
- Coordinate travel, training, workshops, conferences and office logistics
- Maintain asset, inventory, partner, participant and consultant records
- Manage document repositories, correspondence and onboarding support
- Promote digital tools, maintain archives and safeguard confidential information
Requirements
- Completion of secondary education
- At least five years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience
- Fluency in English
- Papua New Guinea nationality
