Supports the GEF Small Grants Programme in Seychelles by helping community projects move from proposal to implementation. The assistant screens grants, guides grantees, processes payments, maintains budgets and records, supports monitoring and audits, organizes programme events and keeps stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities
- Prescreen grant concepts and review financial sections of proposals
- Guide grantees through preparation, implementation and monitoring requirements
- Process payments and track grants, budgets, petty cash and financial reports
- Maintain programme, stakeholder, financial and administrative records
- Organize steering committee meetings, workshops and programme events
- Support field monitoring, evaluations, audits and grievance processes
- Prepare operational correspondence, surveys and progress reports
- Update programme databases, websites and knowledge products
Requirements
- Secondary education, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, environmental science or social science also considered
- At least five years of administrative or programme experience with secondary education, or two years with a bachelor’s degree
- Working proficiency in English as the posting language
