Summary of Responsibilities

  • Promote civil-society participation in Mexico's multilateral delegations on social cohesion, gender and sexual diversity
  • Convene information and dialogue meetings with civil society and foreign-affairs teams
  • Develop actions connecting organisations with international-cooperation opportunities
  • Organise consultations, workshops and forums supporting civil-society participation
  • Track gender and LGBTIQ+ agenda meetings and progress
  • Facilitate exchange between ministry officials and civil-society representatives

Role Requirements

  • High school certificate with six years of relevant experience, or a completed bachelor's degree with three years
  • Experience in development-project follow-up with a gender perspective or international negotiation settings
  • Mexican citizenship or immigration status permitting the work

Desired Criteria

  • Experience or knowledge of international relations and policy analysis
  • Experience or knowledge of institutional engagement with civil-society organisations
  • Experience or knowledge of multilateral relations and international development cooperation
