Job Description

UNICEF Thailand offers a flexible part-time Young Professionals Programme for university students and recent graduates in Bangkok. Participants contribute to digital content and advocacy campaigns, volunteer engagement, event administration and knowledge sharing while receiving mentoring, hands-on assignments and a portfolio of communications work supporting children’s rights in Thailand.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Contribute to development and publishing of digital content on UNICEF internal and external platforms
  • Support public advocacy campaigns through brainstorming, content creation and recommendations for reaching youth and other audiences
  • Assist community management and activities for the I Am UNICEF volunteer platform
  • Facilitate administrative procedures to organize and document volunteer or youth events
  • Support knowledge management and sharing through archive management and topical sessions
  • Build a portfolio of real-world communications projects through hands-on assignments and mentorship

Role Requirements

  • Enrolled university student in third year or above, or recent graduate, in communications, social sciences, international relations, digital media or a relevant field
  • Demonstrated interest in children’s rights, development or humanitarian work
  • Strong communication and writing skills in Thai and English
  • Familiarity with digital platforms and social media
  • Willingness to learn and work in a multicultural environment
