Overview
The consultant strengthens Afghan women's civil-society organisations by coordinating partnerships, peer learning, grant onboarding and closure, capacity support and programme records, helping the WCSO Unit identify needs, maintain compliance and share practical knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate engagement with women's civil-society partners and identify shared needs and challenges
- Organise consultations, coordination meetings and follow-up with programme teams and subnational offices
- Plan peer exchanges, learning events and knowledge-sharing sessions among partner organisations
- Facilitate inclusive virtual learning workshops and develop thematic learning agendas
- Support partner onboarding, agreements, amendments and project closure under UN Women procedures
- Track applications, supporting documents, capacity plans and grant-management actions
- Maintain complete partner and grant records for monitoring and decision-making
- Review extension and amendment requests and support programme administration and quality assurance
Requirements
- Master's degree in social sciences, human rights, gender or women's studies, international development or a related field, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least two years of relevant experience in international development, programme implementation, grantmaking, programme oversight and capacity building
- Fluency in Dari or Pashto
- Working knowledge of English
- Afghan nationality
