Sustainable cooling expert - Asia Pacific

Scale sustainable cooling and heat-resilience action across Asia-Pacific by guiding country pilots, developing funding proposals, advising governments and partners on policy and finance, building coalitions, creating technical tools and training, and sharing regional practices through global forums.

Department: Cooling and Buildings Unit, Mitigation Branch

• Provide technical guidance on sustainable cooling and heat resilience
• Design country implementation programmes and funding proposals
• Engage governments, donors and strategic partners
• Support policy dialogue and climate-financing strategies
• Develop tools, methodologies, reports and training
• Convene regional events and share project practices globally

• Postgraduate relevant degree or a first degree with two additional years of experience
• At least eight years of relevant sustainable urban, cooling, building or environmental experience
• Experience engaging multiple stakeholders in project development and partnerships
• Fluency in English
