Overview

Responsibilities

  • Map and improve inter-agency information and validation workflows
  • Develop a strategic positioning framework for the UN Country Team
  • Transform programme evidence into systemic-change narratives
  • Create briefs, advocacy notes and talking points for decision-makers
  • Develop audience-specific messaging and partnership communications
  • Prepare an integrated editorial calendar for 2026 and 2027
  • Assess capacity needs and deliver strategic communication training

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in strategic communications, public affairs, international relations, international development, political science or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of relevant experience
  • At least five years of experience in strategic communications, institutional positioning, advocacy, public affairs or influence communications
  • Experience translating development data into policy and advocacy arguments
  • Experience in organisational diagnosis, knowledge management or multi-actor information systems
  • Oral and written fluency in French and knowledge of English
