Multimedia Assistant

Produces visual, video and digital content that strengthens the visibility of the UN Country Team and Resident Coordinator Office in China. The consultant combines multi-agency inputs into coherent campaigns, supports major events and maintains an organised communications archive.

Department: UN Resident Coordinator Office in China

• Create visual assets for digital, print and campaign communications
• Produce videos from concept and scripting through filming, editing and post-production
• Transform inputs from UN entities into coherent audience-focused content packages
• Develop website and social-media content in platform-appropriate formats
• Provide photography, video and multimedia support for major events
• Archive communications outputs and event materials systematically

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, design or a related field
• At least two years of experience in communications, media production or graphic design
• Experience managing social-media platforms and producing original digital content
• Experience in video production and graphic design
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
