Overview

Delivers primary and emergency medical care for WFP and eligible UN personnel while advising on clinic systems across Sudan. The role provides clinical oversight, referrals, health-data guidance, medical-supply planning, staff wellbeing support and emergency inputs to keep services confidential and professionally compliant.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver primary and emergency clinical consultations
  • Conduct entry, periodic, exit and driver-fitness medical examinations
  • Advise on referrals, case management and medical follow-up
  • Guide clinic supply chains, procurement planning and referral networks
  • Analyse clinical and epidemiological data and clinic utilisation
  • Maintain patient-data systems and medical confidentiality standards
  • Deliver health-promotion briefings and staff training
  • Support medical evacuations and periodically visit clinic locations

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in medicine or demonstrably equivalent recognised studies
  • Registration as a General Practitioner in the country of origin
  • Current ACLS certification
  • PHTLS certification with at least four years of emergency-care experience
  • At least five years of progressively responsible postgraduate professional experience
  • Fluency at level C in English and Arabic
