The specialist leads WFP’s regional food-fortification strategy, conducts landscape analyses, guides country programmes and policy engagement, strengthens technical capacity and partnerships, and advances evidence-based integration of fortified foods into humanitarian operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead fortification landscape analyses and validate findings across priority countries
- Implement the ESARO food-fortification strategy and monitor country operational plans
- Provide technical guidance on programme design, implementation, monitoring and regulatory frameworks
- Strengthen government and country-office capacity on food fortification
- Generate evidence and influence programme design, supply-chain choices and policy engagement
- Coordinate regional partnerships, advocacy, knowledge exchange and resource mobilisation
Requirements
- Advanced degree in food fortification, food processing, food technology, food science, nutrition, public health or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in food fortification, food technology, food science, food-value chains, food security, project management, partnership engagement or advocacy
- Fluency in English
