Responsibilities

  • Consult adolescents to identify priority mental-health and wellbeing themes
  • Develop an age-appropriate comic narrative and accompanying teacher guide
  • Translate consultation findings into practical social-emotional learning content
  • Adapt characters, storylines and guidance to Bhutanese cultural contexts
  • Apply safeguarding and ethical standards during adolescent participation
  • Coordinate content development with UNICEF, education authorities and programme partners
  • Prepare high-quality design and production outputs for pilot use
  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback into final publication-ready resources

Requirements

  • Master degree in psychology, education, public health, social work, sociology, anthropology, child development or educational psychology
  • At least five years of experience developing adolescent communication, education or behaviour-change materials
  • Experience conducting participatory consultations with adolescents using safeguarding and ethical engagement standards
  • Experience working with government agencies, UNICEF or other development partners
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of Dzongkha
  • Bhutanese nationality
