Job Description

The Global Fund analyst coordinates replenishment events and supports conversion of donor pledges into contributions. The role manages participant, travel and expense logistics, prepares contribution documents, tracks agreements and conditions, coordinates clearance and reports to management and governance bodies.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning and logistics for replenishment milestones
  • Maintain event workplans, participant lists and correspondence
  • Manage speaker and funded-participant travel arrangements
  • Track event expenses and reconcile reports
  • Prepare donor agreements, payment requests and receipts
  • Document donor negotiations and coordinate document clearance
  • Track contribution conditions, reporting requirements and payments
  • Maintain pledge and contribution filing systems
  • Support management and governance reporting

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in business administration, international development, international relations, political or social science, economics or a related field
  • Experience in administration, international development or resource mobilisation
  • Experience with spreadsheets, databases and office-management software
  • Experience organising, prioritising, scheduling and coordinating work
  • Ability to deliver results under pressure
  • Excellent knowledge of English

Desired Criteria

  • Advanced university degree in a relevant field
  • Post-secondary certification or diploma
  • Professional secretarial training
  • At least three years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience with large high-level in-person or hybrid events
  • Previous professional experience with the Global Fund
  • Good working knowledge of French
  • Knowledge of another language
