The Global Fund officer manages relationships with government donors and supplies strategic and analytical support to public resource mobilisation. Summary of Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with government donors
  • Support resource-mobilisation and replenishment strategies
  • Analyse donor policies, plans and funding trends
  • Advise senior management on donor engagement
  • Prepare briefings, presentations and responses to donor queries
  • Coordinate donor meetings, visits and events
  • Align Secretariat teams around donor engagement
  • Track follow-up actions and operational delivery

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in social or political science, public administration, international relations, development or a comparable field, or equivalent professional training, self-study or work experience
  • At least three years of experience managing grants, projects or programmes and coordinating projects in a multi-stakeholder setting
  • Experience working with donor representation
  • Excellent knowledge of English

Desired Criteria

  • Resource-mobilisation track record in a multilateral setting
  • Practical field experience in a developing country
  • Global-health donor experience
  • Good working knowledge of donor-portfolio languages
  • Knowledge of another language
