Quality Assurance Consultant - Manual Testing & Load TestingNew

Designs and delivers manual, exploratory and load testing for UN-Habitat’s solid-waste-management information systems in Colombia. The consultancy turns user stories into test plans and cases, documents defects and execution metrics, and works with the SIGIR team to validate releases across web, mobile and recycler-facing products before production, ensuring product sign-off before deployment.

• Coordinate with the SIGIR team to obtain user stories and functional requirements for modules under test
• Create test plans covering the strategy, approach and scope for each product
• Design and document test cases from user stories
• Execute manual functional and exploratory tests across assigned modules
• Prepare structured bug reports with reproduction steps, severity and priority
• Produce test-execution reports with quality metrics and follow defect resolution
• Execute load tests for the web portal, recycler portal and mobile application
• Validate test cases and product sign-off with the SIGIR team before production

• First degree in computer science, systems engineering or a related field
• At least two years of professional experience in software quality assurance and manual testing
• Experience designing and executing test cases based on user stories
• Experience in functional and exploratory testing
• Experience coordinating with development teams and product owners
• English and Spanish
